The Byrd Shelix cutterhead for the Powermatic 15 planer is the ultimate upgrade to any woodworking machine. Made specifically for the machine, the head will be a direct drop in with no modifications needed. Each head features 5 rows of German made carbide for a total of 75 4-sided inserts. When they get dull, just rotate and you're back in business.
