Description

This version of the Byrd Shelix cutterhead fits all DeWalt model DW-735 planers and is a direct drop in requireing no modifications. The cutting diameter is slightly undersized from the factory head but the cutters do not have to be removed before installing. For the OEM diameter version check our item B4725OEM. The DW-735 Shelix head comes with a set of new bearings installed on each head.

Great upgrade

Really like the performance of the Shelix planer head. Running a lot of white oak, which dulled up the stock HSS blades pretty quickly. Runs quieter, too. Now have Shelix on both the jointer and the planer.
